Christ Over Giving Tuesday

By

As we look back on the last year, I am in awe of God’s kindness. What began as a conversation among friends has materialized into a ministry that has strengthened local churches, edified believers, and helped bring clarity to convoluted issues. And as 2023 winds down, Christ Over All is gearing up for 2024.

A Preview of 2024

To that end, here are the themes planned for next year (If you have an article idea, please send us an email).

  • Jan 2024 – A Biblical View of Israel
  • Feb 2024 – Theology by the Book
  • Mar 2024 – Creeds, Confession, & Cooperation
  • Apr 2024 – The Four Gospels, One Passion
  • May 2024 – Artificial Intelligence
  • Jun 2024 – Great Books Throughout the Ages
  • Jul 2024 – Plato in the Hands of an Almighty God
  • Aug 2024 – Getting into the Book of Hebrews
  • Sep 2024 – Voting to the Glory of God
  • Oct 2024  Today’s Leviathan: Globalism, Environmentalism, and Totalitarianism
  • Nov 2024  The Kingdom of God
  • Dec 2024 –Handel’s Messiah

To bring these themes to fruition, however, Christ Over All is seeking ministry partners, friends who share the same commitment that we do. Our mission is to produce evergreen biblical and theological content that equips the church to engage the culture, and if that is something you would help support, we would encourage you to give today or any day in the future.

Partnering with Christ Over All

As Giving Tuesday arrives, we are launching a giving campaign that seeks faithful donors to help support the work of Christ Over All. For our ministry to meet the demands of its publishing and podcasting schedule, as well as to enlarge our outreach next year, we are asking God to provide $100,000—which is about twice our 2023 budget. To that end, I am also writing to ask if you or your church would consider giving to Christ Over All.

Such funding would help us sustain our monthly rhythm of longforms, essays, and podcasts. It would help solidify the personnel necessary to run the website, and it would provide an opportunity for COA to offer monthly digital downloads as well as other print materials.

Most specifically, we are praying that the Lord would raise up ten churches and more than fifty individuals who might partner with Christ Over All on a monthly basis. We are also looking into a gift-matching campaign in December for those who would want to give a one-time gift to Christ Over All. If you, your church, or someone you know would consider giving to Christ Over All, please share with them this infographic or direct them to our giving page.

Equally, if you or any pastor or friend would like to talk more about partnering with Christ Over All, please have them contact me or any of the other board members. It has been a joy to get to know many of our listeners and readers, and we would love to talk to more.

Pray for Christ Over All

Overall, it is our aim to see local churches, both their pastors and members, equipped with trustworthy biblical and theological resources. And to that end, I would ask that you join us in praying for God to provide for this ministry, so long as it provides biblically faithful content that edifies local churches.

In all things, we trust the Lord to supply all of our needs. And we rejoice in the friends he has given us to help be the instruments of that provision. We are excited about next year. And so, I would ask you to pray for and consider partnering with us as we step into the Year of Our Lord, 2024.
