Andy Schmitz is a U.S. Army chaplain (Major) endorsed by the North American Mission Board. He serves as the bioethicist at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence in San Antonio, where he teaches military and medical ethics. He holds faculty appointments at Baylor University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is pursuing a PhD in Ethics and Public Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary under the supervision of Dr. Andrew T. Walker.
