Joshua Schooping (MDiv, ThM, St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary) is pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Russellville, Arkansas. Before his reception into the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, he spent five years as an Eastern Orthodox priest. He is the author of Disillusioned: Why I Left the Eastern Orthodox Priesthood and Church, An Existential Soteriology, and Irenaeus and Orthodox Apologetic Methodology. He lives in Russelville with his wife and three children.
