Kenneth A. Mathews (ThM, Dallas Theological Seminary; MA, PhD, University of Michigan) is professor emeritus of divinity at Beeson Divinity School, where he taught Old Testament and Hebrew for over thirty years. He has published books on the Paleo-Hebrew Leviticus Scroll, Leviticus, two volumes on Genesis, and he also served as a translator of the New Living Translation. Kenneth and his wife, Dea, are members of Dawson Baptist Church. They have two adult children and seven grandchildren.
