The Paterfamilias: Making Fatherhood Great Again
Fathers are missing—both literally and metaphorically. Some fail to show up, and others fail to step up. And when this masculine authority is absent, the family and the rest of society languish. But what’s a dad to do? This month, we look to our heavenly Father’s Word and wisdom to make fatherhood great again. From Biblical exposition to cultural application, we aim to recover and refine the place of the father as the head of the household—the paterfamilias.
